Come and enjoy the 20th Anniversary of the Skeleton Park Arts Festival, a non-profit annual summer solstice celebration, on the weekend of June 20-22 2025. This free, family-oriented event takes place in McBurney Park and around the surrounding neighbourhood.

This year’s performers include Polaris Prize Winning rapper and former Edmonton poet laureate, Cadence Weapon, Almond Milk, Mimi O'Bonsawin, Zoon, Tiny Horse, Moskitto Bar, Splash N' Boots, Cantabile Youth Choir, Anthea Feaver, Oakridge Ave, Trash Panda Brass Band, to name a few.

Festival side stage workshops include "Page to Stage: Voicing your Verses" feat. Canadian rapper, Cadence Weapon & Kingston poet laureate, Sadiqa de Meijer on Saturday June 21, at 2pm, and "Sounding Off on Queer Joy" feat. Tiny Horse and Trash Panda Brass Band on Sunday June 22 at 2pm. Both workshops will be moderated by Jermaine Marshal. This workshop are co-presented by the Kingston Music Office.

The annual Porch Jazz Parade runs from # 154 Ordnance St to #6 Patrick St at 11am on Sun June 22 this year. The renowned Skeleton Park band, Spencer Evan's Goat Steppers will hit the main stage to round out the parade, shortly after 12pm noon, featuring Oscar Evans on trumpet.

Saturday and Sunday’s programming will also feature local food vendors, family activities by Department of Illumination, the Fat Goose Craft Fair, and Community Organization information booths. Local graffiti artist and muralist, Aaron Forsyth, is SPAF2025's featured visual artist.

Skeleton Park Arts Festival is a free, grassroots, multi-disciplinary art experience that happens in Kingston on the summer solstice weekend, and at pop-up events around the neighbourhood all year round.
