THE FESTIVAL!

About the Skeleton Park Arts Festival

Skeleton Park Arts Festival is a free, grassroots, multi-disciplinary art experience that happens annually in Kingston on the summer solstice weekend. Watch the video below for a snapshot of the festival!

Volunteers

Our volunteers make the Skeleton Park Arts Festival possible! All volunteers are asked to complete and submit an application form. Volunteers are asked to complete a minimum of 2 shifts over the course of the festival (each shift is approx. 2 hrs). Volunteers are also asked to attend a brief volunteer orientation in Skeleton Park leading up the festival, where you will receive a handbook with important information and a site map, as well as your SPAF t-shirt!

Applications will become available at a later date. In the meantime, if you're interested in getting involved with our year-round programming or have any questions, contact Jill Glatt, Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@skeletonparkarts.org

Community Service Booths

The Skeleton Park Arts Festival offers space for community groups to set up a booth/table in McBurney Park to meet folks from the neighbourhood and other festival goers!

Watch our website and social media in the months leading up to the festival for the application process to open.

Artists + Makers

Calling all artists, crafters and one-of-a-kind vendors! We are looking for for enthusiastic artisans to participate in this year’s festival, which will include a full *2 day* Artisan Fair in Skeleton Park.

Watch our website and social media in the months leading up to the festival for the application process to open.

Performers

If you are a performing artist based in the Kingston region, let us know more about you! We don’t have a formal application process for our Festival or other live music events around the year, but if you give us some links to your work and invite us to upcoming concerts in the area, we’ll do our best to follow up and keep you on our radar!  We are especially interested in links to video of recent live performances.

Send us an email at skeletonparkartsfest@gmail.com and include the following details:

  • Artist / Band Name
  • Bio / Description (150 words max)—please include the names of all band members.
  • Links to your music online (via your website, Spotify, Bandcamp, Soundcloud, etc.)
  • Links to video online (Youtube, Vimeo, etc.)
  • Upcoming performances in Kingston (make sure to list venues, dates and times)
