2024 Festival Line Up

All SPAF Programming is FREE ADMISSION

Come and enjoy the 19th anniversary of the Skeleton Park Arts Festival, a non-profit annual summer solstice celebration, during the June 22 & 23 Summer Solstice Weekend. This free, family-oriented event takes place in McBurney Park and the surrounding neighbourhood.

The headliners for this year’s festival includes the JUNO-nominated group Kobo Town, Anishinaabe-Canadian alt-rock band, Status Non Status, Kingston-Iranian Santur player, Sadaf Amini, reggae band, The Human Rights, the alt-country singersongwriter Justin Rutledge, the Undertow Brass Band, who will lead the annual Porch Jazz Parade through the Skeleton Park neighbourhood, and the Department of Illumination, who will lead family activities in the park including a giant boxtopia pirate ship!

Saturday and Sunday’s programming will also feature local food vendors, community organization information booths, and the new partner arts organization, The Fat Goose Collective, who is in charge of the Artisan Market from 10am-5pm on June 22, 23.

Skeleton Park Arts Festival is a free, grassroots, multi-disciplinary art experience that happens in Kingston on the summer solstice weekend, and at pop-up events around the neighbourhood all year round.

The Skeleton Park Arts Festival runs June 22 & 23, 2024 in McBurney Park, just north of downtown Kingston.
