On Sunday, June 21 — National Indigenous People’s Day — renowned Michi Saagiig Nishnaabeg scholar Leanne Betasamosake Simpson and her band breaks open the intersections between politics, story and song—bringing audiences into a rich and layered world of poetry, storytelling, song-writing and performance.
