The Huaraches

The Huaraches are Kingston, Ontario’s finest/only purveyors of instrumental surf punk. They take the spirit of artists like Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet, Link Wray and The Ventures, add reverb, jumpsuits and impunity, then just straight-up put on a show.

To truly understand The Huaraches, see them live. On any given day their act could include masked go-go dancers, limbo contests, therapeutic hug sessions, and a machete. They’re high-energy. They have fun. It’s contagious. Their live show has earned The Huaraches slots at renowned Canadian festivals like Wayhome Music & Arts Festival and the Wolfe Island Music Festival.

Summer 2018 marks the release of The Huaraches third studio album, “Curl Up With The Huaraches”. Recorded at NOP Studios with a whole host of Skeleton Park area technicians, guest musicians, neighbourhood spirit, and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, The Huaraches can’t wait to present it to our friends and family for their bewilderment/indifference/appreciation at this year’s Skeleton Park Arts Fest.
