Workhorse follows three humans whose work and lives are deeply connected with their stoic equine partners. Filmed in beautiful black-and-white, this lyrical documentary reflects on and honours our ancient dependence on horse power.
Directed, written, edited and produced by Cliff Caines. Cinematography by Ryan Randall, winner of a Canadian Screen Award for Best Cinematography in a Documentary.

 

 

About the Limestone Trio:

Since 2008, The Limestone Trio has been busy performing as a string trio in Kingston, Ontario, and the surrounding region. The trio is composed of Lisa Draper and Danielle Lennon on violin and Jeff Hamacher on cello.

Lisa Draper, Danielle Lennon and Jeff Hamacher are all members of the Kingston Symphony, have been principal players of the Melos Baroque Orchestra, and all have bustling private studios. Individually, they have diverse performance experience across decades.
