Balfolk Dance Tune Workshop, Sunday February 11th, 12pm-1:30pm
Location: Mulberry Waldorf School, 25 Markland St.
Bring your fiddles, accordions, guitars, mandolins and whistles to this special community music workshop taught by Emilyn Stam and John David Williams from Balfolk Toronto. These two fine instrumentalists will teach you simple tunes to dance to that they have collected on their tours and travels of Europe, learned directly from masters of various regional French styles.
Sliding Scale Workshop Fee: $5-15
Winter Family Dance , Sunday February 11th, 2pm-4pm
Stick around after the workshop to jam the tunes during the Winter Dance (from 2pm-4pm directly after). Dance: $20 per family or $10 for individuals
